The 5 Signs Funnel

The production system for the funnel built on recognition — she’s been fighting her skin for years and blaming her cleanser, her diet, her stress, “adult acne.” She’s been fighting the wrong problem. Ad concepts, pre-sell listicle, and sales page, in one place: it’s not your routine — it could be a hormonal signal with five tells.

Meta’s Andromeda retrieval rewards meaningfully different signals. Near-identical ads cannibalize each other and fatigue fast. So a set isn’t a batch of variations — it’s a portfolio.

Every concept is a distinct combination across five dimensions. Diversify the combination and each ad reads as its own signal to the auction — while all of them funnel into the one 5 Signs story.

This funnel runs TikTok + Meta, so the portfolio is short-form-video-first: half the set is TikTok / Reels vertical hooks (talking-head, POV, text-on-screen listicle tease), the rest are Meta feed statics and a swipe carousel. Same spine, two very different scroll behaviors.

lever × treatment × format × device × stage = a portfolio, not variations
  • Lever — the persuasion frame (recognition, pain, absolution, reframe, proof, curiosity…)
  • Treatment — the visual world (TikTok talking-head, POV text-on-screen, editorial poster, quote carousel…)
  • Format — the structure (listicle tease, PAS, checklist, reframe, social proof…)
  • Device — the D2C hero (count-along, self-scan, sign-card, swipe-to-count…)
  • Stage — funnel position (TOFU / MOFU / BOFU) & light|dark ground
Scent-match rule: every concept below is written so the ad hook literally continues into the pre-sell headline — “5 Signs Your ‘Acne’ Is Actually Perimenopause” on /5-signs. The angle spine is the same all the way through: she’s been fighting the wrong problem. The ad creates the recognition jolt — “wait… that’s me. That’s all five.” — and the listicle hands her a name for it. This is the misdiagnosis funnel: it is not the double-bind (Catch-22) and not the second-puberty ambush (Puberty 2.0).
The diagnosis rail — hard gate on every concept These ads tease a self-scan listicle. They never diagnose. Hedged language only: could be a sign of… · many women in perimenopause notice… · if this sounds familiar… — never “you have perimenopause,” and never any implication that the product acts on hormones. Livyond is cosmetic skincare that addresses the appearance of skin: “the inflamed look,” “the look of breakouts.” No cure/treat/prevent. Soursop is a calming antioxidant botanical — never a disease claim. Rx is respected, never disparaged. No guaranteed results.
